Bear Creek Bridge & Valley View Double Tracking

The new Bear Creek Bridge was constructed parallel to the existing single-track structure and within a 72-hour absolute work window, the existing structure was removed, precast substructure set, and the new superstructure slid into place. When activated, the new structure facilitated the final 3 miles of double tracking on the Trinity Metro line through Valley View Station. SAMA’s Resident Construction Manager led a combined consultant and DART team through the projects successful completion.
